Ira need advice on Bleu Bar
Was wondering how far of a bus ride is it from the train station? Only going to be in Florence for a day and a half would it be worth it to go to the Bleu Bar for the sunset and then to Il Ritrovo for dinner?

As I recall, the bus up to Fiesole leaves from right by the train station and takes 20 to 30 minutes...a pretty drive, by the way. And I'm pretty sure the bus stops right in front of the bar.
Another great view over Florence, if you don't want to make the trip to Fiesole, is from Piazza Michaelangelo. Someone else will have to direct you there, though.

Hi pj,
>..would it be worth it to go to the Bleu Bar for the sunset and then to Il Ritrovo for dinner? <
Definitely.
As Rob says - it's a 20 min ride. The no. 7 bus leaves from the right side of the Florence SMN station as you face the main entrance.
The bus stops right at the Bar Bleu.

Ira, is it the last stop on the 7 line? According to the schedule it would be 40 min. to the last stop. How much is the fare, do I need a pass before getting on the bus or can I pay in Euros on the bus?
