Ira, help on CDG maps, please.

Ira, you posted two very helpful links a while ago to Charles de Gaulle airport. They were:

<Here is a map of CDG
http://www.adp.fr/webadp/a_cont01.nsf/$$Affich@ReadForm&cle=X5005A05A4.html

Here are the shuttle routes within/between the Terminals.

http://www.adp.fr/webadp/a_cont01.nsf/0/7D6D3B8F4EDA9373C1256B1F0059E5CB/$File/CircuitsNavettes.pdf>

I bookmarked them, but now that I need them they will not work, they default to the airport site and I cannot find the links on that site. Either the links have changed, or my computer is acting up. Any suggestions?

The airport site www.adp.fr has a new format that I find less user friendly than before, but they stil have a link to show you how to go between terminals. Click on English on the top left and then click on Terminals In a Flash. Once on that page you can click on Connections. Then on "At Charles De Gaulle 1 or whatever termial you are arriving at. You can try to quick link to it on the one below. Not sure if it will work. But going thu the above steps will.

vslparis,

Thank you very much. The long link you gave me does indeed connect to the English version, and I can access the maps of the various terminals.

I did have trouble trying to go to the www.adp.fr link you provided. That ended up on the French version. I could find no "Englsh" link there, however.

The thing I still cannot seem to find is the neat map Ira showed us, that shows the plan for the "navettes" that take you from one terminal to the other. That would be helpful.

Again, thank you very much for your assistance.

If you go to www.adp.fr, you can get to the English section just be clicking on the word "English" in the upper right-hand corner. There are various maps you can download if you select the "connections" section of the website. I presume the kind of map you are looking for is probably on there, but the navettes just go around all the terminals, anyway, and there are signs at the airport as to where to get them.

Christina is right .The English link is up on the top right ( not left as I said before, sorry) right by the little boy pictured. The maps for each terminal, when enlarged shows you what Sortie ( exit door) to use to be closest to the bus stop. Also, it looks like they have taken the Air France bus information for getting into Paris off the site. Either that or it is very well hidden.More likely Les Cars Air France didn't want to pay to be on the new site.

Hi nuke,

Thanks for the heads up.

Alas, the map is gone.

IIRC, the shuttle buses make a counterclockwise loop CDG2 A, C, E, F, D, B.

The shuttle from CDG1 makes the same loop and then returns to 1.

Thanks, Ira. That will teach me to print things out when they look like they might be handy in the future.

I wonder why they would neglect to include somenthing so basic as reference to inter-terminal shuttles from their airport website? I finally found a link on the French version to such a map, but it goes to an error message.

Hell of a way to run a railroad!
