Our famous Ira is already a legend but I met him and I can prove it! Thanks for that great GTG in my town with also Ira's Lady Wife, hdm and hubby Ron.
The video is on 2 websites, the quality may differ from one to the other. I wish it was better... Turn the volume on! :-)

That was great! I didn't get sound, but that could be just me as I had a little equipment disaster the other day and I may not have all the cords plugged into the right places.

I really love actually seeing Fodorites in photos (great), videos (even better)or in person (the best) - friendly, happy, helpful faces with the names. Thanks, Coco!

Thanks Marianna, That is a pity you can't have the sound, you would hear Ira's speech and Hdm enumerate what she bought at the patisserie. Try on another computer! ;-)

Don't know why, but Ira is just as I have pictured him for years! What a wonderful time you all seemed to be having. Oh, those strawberries look so luscious. ((L))

BTW, Ira, when I was at the Domus Aurea Golden House tour a few months back, I met a fellow Fodorite from Chicago. Among other things, we talked about our favorite posters, and you were on top of her list to meet!

I think hdm is not Ira's wife. HDM is married to Ron. Roberta (Ira's LW) is married to Ira.

That's how I interpret the above :).

Ira doesn't look how I expected, but now that I see him I feel it fits - the professorial, friendly look.
