iPhone Apps -- Florence, Munich, Lucca, Cinque Terre
Good morning!
I'll be in Florence for a week at the end of May and I'm trying to determine if I should book a couple of guided walking tours (that include Uffizi & Accademia) or if there are apps out there that would suffice. Can anyone suggest a good iPhone app for Florence and/or museums in Florence? I will also be spending lesser amounts of time in Munich, Lucca and Cinque Terre and if anyone knows of apps for those areas, please share! I'm not interested in apps that provide maps, restaurants, shops...I'd prefer history, interesting facts, etc. Thanks! jglags |
Rick Steeves used to have walking tour apps that you could listen to on your iPhone. I had a few for Florence, Rome, Naples, they were entertaining and pretty informative.

You can download top best iPhone travel apps in your iOS 8 and iOS 7 devices using this.

Most of those apps will require a data connection, so use with care.
Anyway, they don't look like the kind of thing jglags was looking for. Mostly the site looks like an ad platform. |
