inverary hotels
 

Hi
I'd appreciate some recommendations for accomodations in the Inverary, Kilmartin and Kirkcudbright areas. The hotels don't need to be specifically in those towns just somewhere nearby.

I answered your other thread earlier.

to add, you've got the Crinan Hotel at one end of Kilmartin Glen, and the Cairbaan on the canal itself. Plus Loch Melfort Hotel.. All medium to very posh. The Kilmartin Inn's good too. It's not posh

Sheila, Thanks for the hotel information. Are you familiar with the Argyll hotel? If so, I would appreciate your opinion on it.

Only from the outside. I think it's main client base now Will be coach tours. Great looking building tho'.

If you want to be in the town look at the George.

Thanks for the warning about the coach tours at the Argyll and for the recommendation on the George. I was able to cancel the reservation that we had at the Argyll and book the George. I truly appreciate your taking the time to help me with this. Looking forward to my first trip to Scotland.
