interrailing help needed!!!!
Im planning a trip to Europe beginning on Aug 4th and ending Sep 1st. I plan to spend a while in Italy , starting in Rome, and i would like to see Florence, Cinque Terre, and Venice. Also any info on how to get from Venice to Croatia would be greatly appreciated ! (ie info on ferrys) Or would it be easier to go to Vienna and go from there to Croatia?

If you look at a map, you'll see that Wien ("Vienna" is not between Venezia and Croatia. If you're heading for Zagreb, try trains on www.bahn.de. If you want the coast (which you probably do), get a train to Trieste then a bus, or a direct ferry from Chioggia to Split (www.enermar.it) or take a train to Ancona then an overnight ferry to Zadar or Split (www.jadrolinija.hr or bli-ferry.com) or a train to Bari then a ferry to Dubrovnik (www.jadrolinija.hr or www.azzurraline.com). For train schedules throughout Europe, www.bahn.de is the simplest.

Seems worthwhile on ANY question, asking ANYthing about ferries, to throw out the hame of this website: http://www.youra.com/ftg/index.html - - it's the be-all, end-all in ferry info web sites, last I looked.
Click on "World Ferries" to get started looking for info on ferries outside the US...
Best wishes,
Rex

I think Rex should look at a web site before recommending it. I cannot find any ferries to Croatia on www.youra.com and coverage of the rest of Europe is very sparse and often inaccurate (one domestic Dutch operator is listed under Scandinavia, for example).
