Internet points in hill towns?
I know we'll be on vacation, but my husband will need to keep in touch with his business at least every few days. Does anyone have experience finding internet points in the smaller hill towns? We'll be staying in Radda. Thanks:)

Sorry, don't know where Radda is (what country are you asking about?). If its an Italian town, I can tell you that most decently sized towns (e.g. Perugia in Umbria) will have an internet cafe.

You just have to ask. I asked once in Assisi and got directed to a secretarial service office. That was 3 years ago, they are probably more plentiful now. I would think offices with a spare computer might think it was a good moneymaker.

I never looked for an internet point in a small hilltown in Italy but they may exist. In case you don't find any in Radda or other towns in Chianti, there's always nearby Siena.

We stayed in Radda last June, and made a daily visit to the Sandy Cafe for morning coffee and an internet session. They have 3 computers in a side room. The cafe is just outside the town walls across from the park -- you can't miss it. The pastries and pannini are good too!

Thank you enewell and others. My husband will be pleased to know he can keep in touch when necessary. I had emailed our hotel, Relais Fattoria Vignale, to see if they had internet access for guests. They just responed that they do, it's slow but it works. The Sandy Cafe sounds perfect. We'll check it out. Thanks for the help.
