internet hotel dicount sites for London and Paris?
Hi,
I plan on going to London and Paris over Thanksgiving.
Can anyone give me the internet adresses to arrange for discounted hotel rooms in Europe?
Do they offer a true savings?
Also, I would appreciate the suggestions of any hotels that have good sized "Triple" rooms in good locations. I will be traveling with my 19 year old and 12 year old.
Thank you!

Casey,
Here's what you do:
Go to laterooms.com, enter some close up dates for the type of room you're looking for. Pick a hotel, then go book it somewhere else like londontown.com for the best price you can for your REAL dates. Then keep checking the laterooms site for the three weeks leading up to your stay, chances are, you'll find a better deal for the same dates at the same hotel. Call the hotel and ask them to honor the price you found, and they will. That way, you have the reservation you want, but also the chance to get it a a deep discount. londontown requires no deposit, so it's a no-lose proposition. I just got back from London, and saved $300 over five nights doing this exact thing. Good luck.

Casey, I am also going to London over Thanksgiving and found a great rate from the Thistle Hotels site -- www.thistle.com -- I'm booked into the Thistle Bloomsbury near the British Museum for 45 pounds per night including breakfast and taxes. Thistle might have a property that you're interested in. If you do find something, I suggest you call the 800# just to find out if Thistle has any further unadvertised specials.

Thanks for the good advice.
I am having trouble finding rooms in Paris that will accomandate 3 people.
My daughter is 12 so it looks like she no longer counts as a child. 3 adults seems to warrant an apartment- which I don't think is what I want.
Any suggestions?
