International Phone Cards

Can International Phone Cards be purchased in the U.S. that will work in Italy?

I'm sure there are AT&T cards that will work in Europe... check on the form/card the plastic card is affixed to in the store...
People have posted here about buying cards at Costco, for instance.

They may work, but your best bet in Italy is to buy a card there. Very easy to use, and will only cost around 5 cents a minute to call the US.

Buying the internation phone call in Italy is best. Any tobacchi (tobacco) shop will sell them. My friends in Italy even buy them to call me here in the US.

Hi
we bought an International phone card in Germany this summer. It worked very well and was inexpensive. We got ours at an internet cafe. It was 600 minutes for 5Eu. we had earlier bought a card at T-Mobile in Berlin and it was 30 min. for 10 eu. It was the first and last time we went with a major company.
