Interlaken Hotel Help
 

Does anyone know about the Hotel Metropole? And, we have a flight out of Zurich at noon,from Interlaken, how often are trains and what time would I need to leave interlaken to make a flight at Zurich at noon? Thanks!!

I have not satyed at the Metropole, but I have stopped to take a look inside, very nice. The trip from Interlaken to the Zurich Airport is 2:37. If you want to get there with enough time to catch your noon flight, I would take the 6:39 AM direct train that leaves from the East station. It goes right to the Airport. Have a good trip. Interlaken is one of our favorite cities.

Had lunch at the Metropole and it was f9ne. Wouldn't worry about it!

The hotel is nice and right in the center of town with a big open park in front. You might even want to request a higher floor room for great views of the mountains.

If I recall correctly, the Metropole is a large modern hotel right near the Victoria-Jungfrau. Looks fine.

For a 12:00 flight, you should arrive at the airport train station at about 10:00.
