I scored something like -7.0 (economic) and -4.5 (social). i find it interesting that the majority of posters on this thread fall into the same left/libertarian group. Wonder if that relates at all to our love of travel? Does seeing different societies somehow affect our political beliefs? Maybe just a coincidence?

I'd want to see a sample of a whole lot of people before concluding what are mean scores for Americans, or any other group of people.
My guess is that "mainstream" American middle views would rate about -2 or 3 on both scales.

As no one found my Hitler/Stalin rant all that interesting (or funny) I guess I should say that I'm the classic moderate.
