Interested in Aix-en-Provence?

Thanks ! ira,
It does make me want to book reservations right away. Provence is on my list ( the one that gets longer every day) of places I must see. How do you work the tiny url? |
You just click on it like any URL, and it goes to the website. Maybe you knew that if you read it -- you create one at tinyurl.com but typing in the real one. I think it's just a website that basically issues you a code and then when you click the URL, it has to retrieve the real one from tinyurl.com and then you are redirected. I don't really know the mechanics, but the only purpose is to shorten real long URLs that might not break lines on Fodors and then create that mess it does. I think if tinyurl went out of business or was down or lost its directory, you would have no way of knowing what it was supposed to be. Maybe some computer geeks on here know more about how it works.

Hi scarlett,
To make a tiny URL, copy the URL from the address line in your browser, go to www.tinyurl.com and paste it there. They then give you a link to use. ((I)) |
The main drag in Aix has so many fontaines. It's a lovely place with lots of students and besides the Clos de Violette not much in fine dining.

Thanks Ira, brings back sweet memories of lunch at Les Deux Garcons and dinner at Clos de la Violette.

Merci~((F))
