Suze- That's my question, too. How are you going to freeze the packs?

I usually just buy frozen peas and use them as an ice pack.

Every small fridge I've ever seen in my travels has had at least a small freezer compartment. Won't fit a frozen pizza or a whole turkey, but always big enough to freeze a few blue ice blocks.

And I've never been turned down in a request at a hotel or B&B to pop one of my ice blocks into their freezer.
