Input needed for Sorrento hotels

A friend and her 14 year old daughter are travelling to Paris, Rome + Sorrento this July.

Here is a list of some of the Sorrento hotels that looked appealing. I am looking for input for any of them. They will spend up to 300E per night and would like something with updated, clean rooms, a pool and air con. Thanks.

Parco dei Principi Hotel

Continental

Relais Villa Angiolina

Grand Hotel Angiolieri

Grand Hotel Ambasciatori.

Grand Hotel Angioleri looks lovely but it is not in Sorrento proper but in the Seiano area of Vico.
I would like to stay in that area someday but I just want you to be aware.

Hi Bob, I sent her the link for the Antiche Mura as I saw that you suggested it in another post. It looks great.

I have been helping her with her choices in Rome (as I am taking my family there in August and have been reseraching) but need help with Sorrento.

My husband & I stayed almost a week at Antiche Mura - I second Bob's rec. The location was perfect, would stay again. Enjoy your trip!

Another vote for the Antiche Mura. We had a HUGE garden room with beautiful tiled floors. Also, the best breakasts we had in nearly 3 weeks in Italy, including good cappucino. We hope to return next year and would stay there in a heartbeat.

We also stayed at the Antiche Mura. If they/you are coming by train, it is so easy to reach the hotel. It is only a few hundred yards from the train station. Once they/you get off the train, it's all downhill. Just stay on the left hand sidewalk and it's the first hotel.

They booked the Antiche Mura and are so excited.
