Input needed for Sorrento hotels
A friend and her 14 year old daughter are travelling to Paris, Rome + Sorrento this July.
Here is a list of some of the Sorrento hotels that looked appealing. I am looking for input for any of them. They will spend up to 300E per night and would like something with updated, clean rooms, a pool and air con. Thanks. Parco dei Principi Hotel Continental Relais Villa Angiolina Grand Hotel Angiolieri Grand Hotel Ambasciatori. |
Look at Antiche Mura---great pool.

Grand Hotel Angioleri looks lovely but it is not in Sorrento proper but in the Seiano area of Vico.
I would like to stay in that area someday but I just want you to be aware. |
Hi Bob, I sent her the link for the Antiche Mura as I saw that you suggested it in another post. It looks great.
I have been helping her with her choices in Rome (as I am taking my family there in August and have been reseraching) but need help with Sorrento. |
My husband & I stayed almost a week at Antiche Mura - I second Bob's rec. The location was perfect, would stay again. Enjoy your trip!

Another vote for the Antiche Mura. We had a HUGE garden room with beautiful tiled floors. Also, the best breakasts we had in nearly 3 weeks in Italy, including good cappucino. We hope to return next year and would stay there in a heartbeat.

We also stayed at the Antiche Mura. If they/you are coming by train, it is so easy to reach the hotel. It is only a few hundred yards from the train station. Once they/you get off the train, it's all downhill. Just stay on the left hand sidewalk and it's the first hotel.

They booked the Antiche Mura and are so excited.
