Innsbruck, Austria to San Sebastian Spain travel help???
 

Hello! I am in need of some travel arrangement help.

We will be leaving Innsbruck on May 11 and are looking for the best & most affordable way to get me and my husband to San Sebastian, Spain in as little time as possible.

We know the train is not the best option, but we don't know what alternatives and combination thereof are out there. To have the best options we are thinking about taking the train from Innsbruck to Munich and then catching a flight to Barcelona. Once in Barcelona...then what? This is where I am struggling.

We have looked at flights on travelzoo.com, cheapoair, etc., don't know anything about renting cars in Europe, and are willing to review all suggestions.

Thank you! I was able to book a flight on Iberia airlines to Barcelona. Any suggestions on the best way to get from there to San Sebastian. We land mid day sunday.

We are flying Vuelling from Barcelona to San Sebastián in a couple weeks.

Jamikins, we had looked at continuing our flight from Barcelona to go on to San Sebastian, but we wanted to weigh the costs of flying vs. renting a car/taking the train/taking a bus so that we could see more of Spain. Any thoughts?
