Innsbruck area Hotel
 

Looking for some suggestions for a decent affordable hotel or bed & breakfast in the Innsbruck area. It does not have to be directly in the city as I assume that is the most costly option - it could be a bit too the east or west . We wouldn't mind a short drive into explore the city

You may want to try inns and b&b's in Hall in Tyrol, a very cute town near Innsbruck.

We can highly recommend the Gasthof Badl in Hall in Tirol. We've stayed here on 4 seperate trips and love everything about it. Owners/hosts, central location, easy walk into Hall in Tirol, views, buffet breakfast and their restaurant are all terrific.

I second Paul's recommendation of the Gasthof Badl in Hall in Tirol. Some of the best views right outside your window!
