We are going to be in Segovia in May and I found what looks to be a great hotel...Hotel Don Felipe.....there. It has wonderful reviews on TripAdvisor, but no link to the hotel. The hotel's website shows no email address, just a fax and phone...neither of which I could get to go though. I'm attempting to find out what their rates and availability are for the dates I need and their online booking site says "no rooms available". Most likely, at this early stage, they haven't loaded the rates in yet. Anyone have any suggestions on how to reach the hotel now......I really don't want to wait to make reservations and may have to find a different hotel. I'm hoping there is some magic way to find an email address!!

Why don't you try your dates on a reputable site such as booking.com?

Some smaller hotels aren't that good with internet stuff, and I wouldn't be surprised that you may not get satisfaction with email this way (it is on website, as noted).

Are you sure you are dialing correctly to reach that number in Spain? Some people aren't clear on how you call Europe. Although it's certainly possible they changed numbers or some other problem.

I wouldn't bother myself as they may not speak English fluently, if that's what you need. And I wouldn't be comfortable with just a verbal reservation by phone, anyway, I prefer having things in writing. I notice booking websites say they aren't available, either (like booking.com) for next May, I bet they just don't book that far in advance, if you are trying to book for May 2016. I'd probably forget it. They won't be able to tell you their rates for sure now, probably. Many hotels won't even book that far in advance and some don't set their rates for the next year that far in advance. I think you can presume the rates will be the same or a bit higher than they are right now.

Thank you, deb and Christina, for your help. I quite overlooked the email address on the bottom of the reservation form! And, yes, I had tried checking booking.com, as well as venere.com and trivago.com...all had the same response "no rooms available for your dates" which at this early date, tells me that the rates are not loaded yet or rooms not released to booking agents. I do prefer going to the hotels direct through email (like you, Christina, I am not comfortable with no written confirmation). I usually receive a much better rate directly, and it is easier to request a specific room that way. So far for this trip, I have reserved 6 different hotels...all said "no rooms available"...all reserved rooms for me when I went direct with an email to the hotel! I did email the Don Felipe after I saw your responses..now will wait to see if I hear from them. No worries, however,..I have 2 other hotels in Segovia that also look nice!! AND they have direct emails AND rates loaded online on the hotel sites!! Again, thanks for your help!!!

The Hotel Don Felipe is very popular, and their reservations page can be done in English (www.hoteldonfelipe.es/reservas-hoteles-segovia/).

Normally, the rates for smaller hotels for May of 2016 would not be posted until at least 6 months in advance at the earliest, or at the end of December, which would not be unusual.

The front desk staff at Don Felipe does speak English. They also have a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hotel...85322284816743). If you want, you can send them a message.

Thanks, Robert. I did receive a reply from them when I used the email that debinthepeg found (and I had overlooked). They provided their rates for next May and I am able to reserve over their email. Now just trying to choose between the Don Felipe and the Infanta Isobel, both look good!! My experience, so far, with booking this trip, has been if I can reach the hotel by email, I can reserve this far ahead. However their websites are not set up for booking this far in advance.
