Info on Italy
Can anyone tell me some of the best web sites to find info on Italy? We are going to be in Tuscany (Montepulciano) for one week and then in Rome for a few days. I'm particularly interested in figuring out day tours to make in Tuscany.
Thanks

There was a question almost exactly like this about a week or two ago. i think I posted a response. Maybe if you search you can find it.

The thread was called "good website on Italy." I tried to find it with the search mechanism with no success. Perhaps someone more computer literate can find it. The posting I know of was on 3/19.
Here's a start for you:
http://www.initaly.com/index.htm
Subscribe to its monthly newsletter.
The thread is

http://www.fodors.com/forums/messages.cfm?fid=2&tid=1283299&numresponse s=6

Here's how I found it:

http://www.fodors.com/forums/threadselect.cfm?fid=2&sort=date&rows=1000 &start=1

Then, click anywhere in the lefthand column, and use "Edit, Find" (from your browser). I searched for "website". It is currently number 882.

Best wishes,

Rex
Re signing up for a newsletter from InItaly.com. Where on the site do you find it? I've just spent 20 minutes looking and couldn't find out how to sign up for it. Help please.
Linda

Linda, I don't recall the address for subscribing, but if you email [email protected] and tell them that you want to subscribe, I'm sure they'll respond. I've used that address several times and they always responded.
