Info on Berlin Brandenburg airport.
 

Hi:
We are planning a visit to Berlin next may; and we will leave the city in a flight departing from Brandenburg airport.
Please, comment where the airport is located and what is the best transport(in the morning).

It looks like it used to be called Schönefeld airport.

Thanks Michael.Just visited the airport's web and saw that it its the newest in Europ(work still in process).

It's a brand new airport that is going to replace Schönefeld and Tegel. Too bad for the people living there.

Google Schönefeld and one gets the same image of the new building as Brandeburg airport, which leads me to believe that it is a redo of the original airport.

It's a huge new airport south of Schönefeld with demonstrations against it every day, by all the locals.

Flying there in the summer. Whatever it is, it HAS to be better than Tegel !
