Question about the Gondola Workshop in Venice

I just realized we were planning on walking around that area on Sunday, we could switch to Saturday. Will they be working on the gondolas on Saturday or Sunday? Anyone been there on a weekend?

We're doing a Photography Walk with Marco Secchi, asked him, he said they will not be working on the weekend.
