Inexpensive in Paris for 4

I am going to Paris in June with my mother and 2 sons, and would like to find inexpensive lodging for 2 nights. Any suggestions? Also, in which area should we stay? Thanks!

The city is divided into arrondissements, and 1-8 are where most of the tourist attractions and sights are located.
For hotels by arrondissement
http://www.france-hotel-guide.com/par1.html

Another site, with inexpensive hotels:
http://www.hotelsparis.co.uk/
Our family of 6 stayed at Grand Hotel Jeanne d'Arc in the Marais. The room for 4 was only about $85 a night in November and was fine. It was a little garish and worn, but clean and had a good size bathroom, and friendly staff. It is like staying in an old building, but homey, with great bakeries nearby. The subway stop was nearby, there was plenty to do, and I had no complaints (for the price, it was a good value!)

I just booked at the Novotel-Les Halles for approx $150USD inclusive of breakfast for a 4 bedded room.
