How many is "we"?

And what exact amount - in pounds or euros - do you consider inexpensive?

It's awfully late to be looking for an inexpensive hotel for June.

However, my daughter and I stayed at the Hospitel Hotel Dieu. It is, literally, right across the street from Notre Dame on the Isle de la Cite. The bells of Notre Dame will be your alarm clock! The hotel is in a small wing of a still-active public hospital. Small rooms, but very clean. Bathrooms are huge. If seeing people in hospital garb or on gurneys wigs you out, then maybe not for you. But we only saw this twice in our stay. And I come from a family of medical professionals, so didn't bother us at all.

There is a metro station right out side the front door, as well as a taxi stand. Here is Tripadvisor reviews: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...de_France.html

And here is the hotel's website: http://www.hotel-hospitel.fr/ang/accueil.htm

Good luck!

Your question has no meaning.

Speak in terms of actual monetary payments you will be comfortable making and then you'll get more help.

Ok. We are two, going to Paris for three nights, going to London for two nights and coming back to Paris for three nights. (JUNE)
I would like to pay in Euros, and inexpensive for me would be around 120-130 euros.

You will pay in euros in Paris and GBP in London as those are the currencies in those countries.

Try Hotel Bonaparte, Hotel Cosmos, or Hotel St Jacques in Paris.

I love Priceline bidding for London and 4* in Paris bidding should get you something decent, Read the wins at www.betterbidding.com to see the BARGAINS in London and Paris.

I've seen some great wins at under $70 in London. Paris is always more.

Probably already all booked up for June, but it's worth a try.

I also like Hotel Bonaparte, mentioned above.

In London, you could try the Park Plaza County Hall. Pretty new and conveniently located. Not sure of their summer prices, but it was very reasonably priced - I think it fell in your price range - for London when we stayed there a little over a year ago.

Cheapest rooms there in June run to between £150 and £170 per night, so way out of the OP's price range.

Sorry about that! Maybe rates have gone up or maybe we hit a sale.

You do really need to measure "expensive" by the money you're willing to spend.

Paris and London are relatively expensive when compared to many places.

You could try to find a hotel in Montmartre and it would be cheaper than in the center.

Hotel College du France on Rue Thenard in the 5th.

You can also go to Trip Advisor and look at hotels around the Gare du Nord.
