inexpensive airlines
Vueling or SpanAir. Does anyone have experience for either of these airlines. We will choose one of them for a flight from Barelona to Granada.
|
Recently took a SpanAir flight from Madrid to Barcelona, and back 10 days later. It was fine, for 1 hour, packed flights.

Be sure you have taken into account:
The baggage limit - often next to nonexistent the rules - often very strict Before buying |
"inexpensive airlines"
They can be expensive airlines - especially if you book late or don't read the rules about luggage They are low costs airlines with emphasis on the "s" in costs - ie their costs are low and it can be low cost for you IF you do things right |
Which other airline might be a bit more straight forward and not have as many hidden costs?
|
Costs aren't hidden. They will be presented to you during the booking process. And most websites will have a full list of all their charges.
If you want simple and not have to worry about how hard it is to add a checked bag to a booking then just use a traditional airline like Iberia - and be charged 10 times as much. |
The earlier you book the cheaper it is going to be in my experience...either airline would be adequate IMO

We took a Vueling flight from Amsterdam to Malaga a few weeks ago. The plane was packed, and the seat pitch was the shortest I have ever experienced (I am 5 ft 6 in and my knees touched the seat in front of me... that has never happened to me before) BUT the flight was short, and most importantly, cheap.

I have taken Vueling flight from Rome(FCO) to Paris(Orly)..I dont have any complaints about this company.
