Inexpensive accomodations in Amsterdam

My daughter, age 19, has planned a trip to Amsterdam from our home in Wuerzburg, Germany. She is going with 9 friends and they are looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Can anymone recommend a hotel, b and b, or hostel which would be "teenage friendly". They are planning to do this this weekend.

I'll be travelling to Amsterdam in August and I will be staying at Hotel Aspen which I found to be cheapest at that time of year, 85 Euro for a triple. Hotel Abba, Johannas B and B, Hotel Euphemia, PC Hooft, and Hotel Eupehemia also seemed pretty cheap but I can't vouch for them.

Anne27, do you want one where they do or don't smoke pot inside the hostel? If you want one where they don't, consider the Shelter hostels: http://www.shelter.nl

Another possibility: the StayOkay in VondelPark (also a non-pot-smoking hostel).

www.amsterdamhotspots.nl is a good general site with loads of hotels in all different price ranges.

Which hotel did you want the website or e-mail for, I have emails for pretty much all of them.
