In Paris 2.1.07 for 2 Weeks. Any other Aussies Leaving Summer to Freeze in Winter?
Hello all, (do not have to be Aussie - only joking)as we really enjoy meeting up with people from all over. But anyone heading to Paris for this period? Have 2 teenagers in tow who are as axcited as the parents to be in Paris/Europe for the Winter. Having read the many posts and general research on Paris/France was wondering if 2 weeks was going to be enough to see just Paris and general surrounds with a few days at Disneyland. There seems to be so much to see and do. We really like to get into the local 'culture', not just visit the sites, take the pics and move on. Have another 1 week we can add on to see other parts of France which we have not yet planned. I guess it's a hard question without you knowing what we like to see/do. I suppose it's a question in general and to see if anyone else will be there at the same time. As for leaving Summer, in our area (Byron Bay) it is forcast for a real stinking hot Summer. So some Winter reprieve will be nice.

Is that 2nd of Jan or 1st of Feb as your start date? I'm not sure if Aussie's write their dates the same way as the Brits or the Americans.
Whichever it is 2 weeks is a good length of time to spend in the city, enjoy!

Hey, we're close enough, couple of kiwis here heading off to Europe too for winter and missing out on our summer. Going for 5 weeks - will be in Paris from 12 to 16 Jan. Leaving the kids behind - actually they are heading off to Adelaide to stay with their granny.
