In London weekend of 23/24 September?

In London on 23/24 September? Don't miss London Open House. All over London next weekend, many building that are normally closed to the public or which charge for entry are open FREE. Ever been inside the Foreign and Commonwealth Office? Or Westminster Hall? How about a look inside the BBC? Look up the full list of participating buildings in every London borough at http://londonopenhouse.org/

Thanks Steve! Will definitely check out some of these places when in town... two more days. Can't wait! Any other recommendations?

I toured the Lloyd's building in the City last year, and enjoyed that. I also would recommend the Bank of England. The Guildhall is pretty fantastic too, while you're in the area.

Another vote for the Guildhall. I remember the inscription on the funereal statue of Prime Minister William Pitt the younger, the final line of which reads: "He lived without ostentation, and he died poor."
