Thank you for your wonderful offer! We are working on the details of the trip and I will contact you when we know what days we will be there. Our three major stops will be Bavaria (family visits), Venice, and Croatia. I had a strong drink at the farm that almost burned my throat!

That's called Rakja, which I use to clean my bathroom floor grout! It will also grow hair on your fingernails, it's lethal. I've been told that it's made from some type of grass. Must wear gloves when using it to clean.
We have some lovely after dinner liquor made from walnuts. This is very nice and will not harm you. We also have some wonderful red wine made from the Mali Plavac grapes called "Dingac."

Very nice, I am looking forward to seeing more with your descriptions. It appears that you were on a group tour, is this so?
It's not difficult to do an slow and easy land trip here on your own, driving down to Plitvice and then continue to Dubrovnik.
English is spoken throughout this country. Locals mostly learn by watching TV. Old shows such as Magnum, the Nanny are still being show here today. It's how I am improving my Croatian also.
