IMO & IMHO
 

I've been researching my upcoming trip to Europe for the past 10 months or so and I often see IMO & IMHO as abbreviations and don't know what they mean. Can someone please inform me?

IMO = In My Opinion <BR>IMHO = In My Humble Opinion <BR> <BR>Hope that helps.

I want to know what BTW means. I figured out IMO, IMHO, MDH, BTW escapes me

Hi, vI just looked it up in my book THE INternet for Dummies. It means "by the way" I need a book for dummier, I find it too complicated have not learned much more than my hotmail and search which I use mainly trying to help my sick dog, but things pop up on the screen and I have no idea what the terms mean so I just click on the x.

There's also lol...Laughing Out Loud that one kind of stumped me for a while,, but I use IMHO all the time. <BR>

When in doubt, RTFM. ;-)

If you ask a "dumb" question of your IT people at work, they may very snootily tell you to RTFM and stalk away with their nose in the air. (read the f***in' manual)

Thanks , now I know what RTFM means, but its still no help because my manual was written by FI'S

I was going to ask a related question but the people on this thread are so rude to beginners, and their mothers should wash their mouths with soap.

I've also seen LOL to mean Lots of Luck although sometmes neither fits. <BR>

I always thought "IMHO" was Hawaiian singer Don Ho's response when people asked him who he was. :~)
