Immerse in Venice!
 

When I go to a town I like to immerse myself in local things and on my recently concluded trip to Italy (and elsewhere) I certainly immersed myself in Venice - including swimming in St Mark's Square.

they actually held an Olympic like swimming competition in the square with contestants jumping off boards and speeding across the square.
