I'm looking to discover the UK

Hello everyone,

My name is Gustavo Woltmann, I am Argentinian and I have been living in London recently. I would like to discover all the countries of the Kingdom, but I do not even know where to start. Can you help me ? Destinations not to be missed? thank you in advance

1. How long will you be staying in London?

2. Countries in the UK: England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland.

3. Start in London.

4. What kind of stuff interests you?

5. What kind of stuff does not interest you?

Phrased like that, it could be a lifetime's work! But I'd suggest you start with some guidebooks, or browse online. Don't just rely on one, but you could start with Fodor's own online destination guides, and the official tourist information site:
www.visitbritain.com

So much depends on what might interest you personally that it's impossible to say what you must see or musn't miss. Once you've tried to get some sort of overview, you might be able to narrow down your interests a bit more.

I'd get hold of the Rough Guide to GB it gives a good overview of the main sights. London is only a little bit of England.

Do you mean you'd like to learn about the separate "kingdoms" of the United Kingdom, and get ideas about how to visit each one so that you don't miss the key towns or the historic features that give them their own identity?

Maybe check out the movie "The Trip" as a primer.
