I'm going to Italy, what kind of toothpaste should I take?

I did have to repurchase all of our toiletries in Venice, because I left a bag on the train..which quickly disappeared. It is a little difficult to find certain products unless you have someone to help you. My husband had commented on how great the lotion was that I bought, but it turned out to be hair conditioner!
