I'm Back and Nothing's New

Hello, yes I'm back in the USA for a few weeks and I'm pleased that some of you still think about us.

Bambi is here with me and is making amends with her mother for staying away for so long, she is getting petted, fed and coaxed again. Felix came back a few months ago and is missing his girlfriend in Roma.

Bambi, her boyfriend and I went to Venezia and she didn't fare very well. Her old fears came back and she walked the whole time keeping a hand over her eyes! Primo, her boyfriend, had not seen her in this state of mind and was perplexed to say the least. She dug holes in my wrists she was so fearful and stricken. She said the canals made her dizzy and she couldn't even look at them, not to mention walk near them, so it was not successful. He was not inclined to humor her very long as she held on to his arm and would not open her eyes and it was creating a scene. People thought she was blind and hysterical and he got embarassed I think. When he tried to pry loose her grip she let out a shriek and that was the last straw on his last nerve.

After two days of her walking with us with her closed eyes they got in a terrible row and he left us. I had to get her and our luggage back to Roma which was not easy. Try to lead a whimpering closed eyed woman and herd luggage at the same!

So we came back here to regroup a little but we kept the place in Roma.

Tallulah - Click on faithonholiday's name and read some of the old posts and you will get it. Amusing but not really missing much. Take Care Jackie

I am sure I speak for most of us on the board when I say that we really missed you and can't wait for a FULL trip report.
Welcome back :-)

Yeah, sure, we all missed you....about as much as we miss getting the measles.

It isn't fair to wake up to this on a Sunday morning, when you have been up until 3:00 the night before, celebrating someone's birthday!

Comprehensible posts are hard enough this morning, much less this whatever it is.

By the way, does Bambi know her mother's dead?
