II Resorts in Costa del Sol
 

We've stayed at the Marriott Marbella Resort and loved it, but may have to request alternatives as well...anyone have favorable experiences with other II resorts in the area that you would recommend?

I'm topping because I too have to go on a wait list for properties in Marbella. The Marriott is our first choice but would like 2nd and 3rd choices for Interval International properties in and around Marbella. Thx.

The Alanda Club resort looks very nice. It used to be a Four Seasons property.
Although I haven't stayed there, I've seen lots of pictures and video of the place.

The Marriott has another newer property called Marriott's Playa Andaluza in Estepona (MUZ) which some people have said is quite nice, though not as ideally located, and another Fodorite stayed at Barratt Dona Lola Club in Mijas-Costa (DLC) and said it was fine. Like Olga, I've also heard Alanda Club, formerly Four Seasons (FSM) is nice. You might check out tug2.net for other reviews of timeshares--some people on there liked Miraflores Vacation Club in Mijas-Costa (MVA). When are you going? You may have plenty of time to hold out for your first choice yet (we just were confirmed for the Marriott Marbella for Nov. 7 just after I posted this.)
