If you'll be in Paris before 6/60

I'm sure that this has been posted before but the messages move so quickly.
There are two delightfull and free exhibits at the Hotel de Ville. The first is a photography exhibit by Willy Ronis that has been extended to May 27th. I ran through it in October just the day before I left and went back to savor it yesterday morning. His photos are a wonderful history of Paris and its culture from the 20's to the 90's. Marvelous B&W photos - he tried some color in the 50's but went back to B&W. Also two films - one his background and history, the second a slide show of the photos.

The second exhibit is Paris au Cinema. Great fun! Film back to horse and buggy days up the unpaved Champs Elysees through silent movie days and early and mid century Hollywood to today. At the end there is a fantastic and fairly long set of themed clips.
Highly recommemded for movie buffs - runs though June 30.
Get there early. The aisle is narrow and the lines tend to get long as the day goes on.

I wish that we would be there in time for these, they sound wonderful!

Is the Hotel de Ville open to the public if there is not an exhibit? I would like to see the interior . . .

BTilke,
Thanks for your suggestion and support I agree, it is helpful to tell the police!

I saw the Willie Ronis photography exhibit in November. It is delightful, and well worth standing in line for.
