kcnewby - when i read it, it seemed that it was the master with the en suite bedroom that had the king that could be converted into 2 singles - so the kids get the best bedroom!

the 2nd bedroom just has a normal double, with a sofa bed in the lounge.

fine, so long as you realise that's the case.

http://www.rentalinrome.com/trasteve...itechapartment Sorry It took me so long to post it! This was in a great location, a quick walk to busstop and lots of restaurants and grocery etc, a real little neighborhood. It was really nice to have the jacuzzi, like a little pool really!

We rented two apartments through sleepinitaly.com 2010.

First in Piazza Navona and second in Campo di Fiori (unfortunately I can't find them in their listings).
I traveled with my 21 y/o son and my 9 y/o daughter. We all loved
Piazza Navona area (4 blocks away), great location, close to Pantheon and shops and restaurants.

At night it's too much fun to walk to the Piazza and the see all the different performers (dancers, singers, clowns, actors, etc) just step away from each other. It's like having a free circus performing for you. I loved it.

My kids found Campo di Fiori boring to the point that we would walk to Piazza Navona from Campo di Fiori apart. after dinner to get free entertainment again.

Avoid Ferrajoli II (Rome Capital Apartments). I booked the apartment for a recent stay in Rome. When I arrived in the evening (not great lighting), I could tell that the apartment was not clean, but I could not see the extent of it until the next morning. When I had natural light, I could see: bathrooms were not clean (hair in sinks and on floor), floors throughout the apartment had dirt/debris on them, kitchen counters were not clean, "terrace" was dirty and had litter on it (including outdoor furniture, which appeared not to have been cleaned in an eternity). I contacted Rome Capital Apartments via email and telephone. They apologized and promised to have someone clean the place before 12 noon. When that did not happen, I vacated.

I had read some prior reviews about cleanliness issues in the upstairs bathroom. I had hoped/assumed that the reviews had caused the owner/manager to correct the situation. I was wrong. It was worse than I could have imagined.

Beware of this apartment and this rental company. I have rented in many locations around the world. This was the worst experience I have ever had.

My advice: don't do it.
