Next month my first stop will be at Thelma's on Ile. St. Loius, for some brightly colered, sparkly necklaces & earrings. Then maybe the Quay booksellers for some prints, and on to the departments stores--those leather backpacks sounded interesting. And of course I'd finish up in the Louvre gift shop!

Katy,

Tell me more about the jewelry at Thelma's. I'm addicted to artisan designed and/or funky jewelry, not too expensive (but doesn't have to be dirt cheap either). Thanks.

A large one bedroom apartment in the 11eme, on an old courtyard, with an artist's studio across the courtyard, and a sax player in the corner apartment who, when he practices Sunday afternoons, phrases just like Coltrane

AGM--

I had the store wrong--it's not A. Simon that specializes in cookware for pastry chefs, it's M.O. R.A., just down the street at 13 rue Montmartre (in the 1st, Metro: Etienne Marcel).

I'm looking for barquette molds, which I haven't been able to find here. I suspect I'll find lots of other items that I didn't know I needed!

Elle-
I will have to check out M.O.R.A. I am sure there are things I didn't know I needed yet.

Lingerie from the little shop on the Left Bank that I cannot remember the name of.
Shoes from any shop on rue de Grennelle.
Makeup brushes from Sheseido on Blvd St Germain.
A print from one of the galleries on rue de Seine.
A ring or earrings from one of the small bijouteries around rue de Dragon.
More bags from Longchamp or Lancel on the Left Bank.
An original art work from a shop in the Marais.
