If you could blink your eyes and be anywhere right now, where would it be?

I'm sure this question has appeared in various forms.... I've had so many wonderful travel experiences over the past few years, but I think the one that sticks out for me is this: It was my first trip to Europe, and my friend & I took a trip to Delos from Mykonos. We wandered up a hill and we were coming down on the other side, when a wild white horse came out of nowhere. I actually was able to take a picture of the moment with my 35mm!

I would go to Istanbul in a heartbeat. Such a beautiful, exotic place. The food is stellar, the sites magnificent and the people the most hospitable in the world. Ah, and then I'd head east and visit the rest of Turkey. Love that place!

Decorating my new villa in Italy. I've had months of remortgage and legal stress to get it and now I JUST WANT TO GET THERE. I want to feel that the aggravation was all worth while.

(hopefully signing soon, if all the italian lawyers don't disappear on holiday).

Stick me in the Serengeti. Or anywhere on safari in East Africa.

You want Europe? Hmm, is it cocktail hour in Rome right now?

With the day I'm having right now, the middle of Death Valley would be fine. But I would want to be in Burgundy.

Mucky, I know, I've just about resigned myself to signing in September. Oh well, August in Puglia is too hot and crowded anyway...

Oh, and yes Mucky, all guests welcome. Just be prepared to put your DIY skills to the test...

Guests must bring their own towels, soap and paint brushes LOL

I'd blink to the past so I could see my Dad one last time and other loved ones that are no longer here.

On the terrace of the Hotel Lido Palace, looking out over Lago Maggiore, with the lights of the islands coming up, and the lights from the boats reflecting off the water. (After all, they are 6 hours ahead of my time zone!)

Paris for sure. It is about dinner time. I think I am having a kir at my favorite bistro. Oops, I must have blinked once too often, I'm back in the office!
