If money and logistics were not a problem, where would you go and for how long?
No need to say your reasons but feel free to say anyway.

I would retrace the Northern route of the Silk Road on foot starting in Istanbul (I'd do it proper and roll as a caravan). I'd then head to Vladivostok and take the Trans-Siberian railroad to Moscow, stopping every 36-48 hours to explore the area for a few days. I'd then take the world's longest and hottest shower and sleep for a week or two.

I just returned from a month-long trip to eastern Europe--Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland (Gdansk, Ketzryn, Torun, and Warsaw).
Right now, I don't think I ever want to leave home again. I took planes, trains, and busses and rented a car with a standard transmission. (I said a lot of foul words while shifting that car.)
The idea of getting on a plane again simply appalls me.
