My plan has been to drive from Granada to Ronda, so we will definitely try to stop in Antequera and the surrounding area. But we'll have already spent 3 days in Cordoba seeing the patio festival!

One more place that I could not identify yet
(in the northern coast on a hill overlooking a port at the west).

None in the south, but I dare to name Sunlucar for sherry.

I loved Begur - It's a small hill town about 1.5 hours from Barcelona.
You can spend a day poking about the town (it's small -so poking includes leisurely meals, a day trip to Girona if you interested (I loved the drive to Girona but it is large city) Walk the coastal area in and around Begur. Chill out at your hotel. Begun is beautiful spot. We stayed at an old nunnery - but try and get one of the rooms out of the main building... on the weekends the stone walls can echo the enjoyment of other couples... or I would look for a hillside hotel rather than right in town so you can enjoy the scenery with the benefit of the nearness of the town. Great restaurants in town as well.

I figure 2 to 3 days max for Barcelona (not being a city person at all) although you can't beat the tapas there.

Heading south from Barcelona is a small seaside town - Tarragona - I'd do 2 or 3 days there. (But we don't like moving around much).

Food is great all over Spain - enjoy!

Sorry because I didn't post correctly.
So, our last time in Spain was in Valencia, enjoying a fantastic Cooking Holiday with 6 friends. We love wine and read on Jancis Robinson's blog a review on a Valencia wine called Parotet 2012 from Celler del Roure in Moixent. We got excited with that wine and were looking forward to visiting the areas. It was the best experience in our lives! Fantastic food, wine, cultural immersion, and of course cooking lessons with a very nice woman called Adela whose blog full of traditional recipes is fantastic. Hope to be useful!
