Hotel in Lake Garda or Desenzano del Gard

We are going to Lake Garda for (2) nights and not sure where to stay. Anyone have a place they loved?

We loved this place but stayed YEARS ago.. not sure what their prices are now, but when we splurged then we felt it was worth it. It was a magical place.

Gardone Riveria is beautiful and lots to see and do there. The Grand Hotel is wonderful and there is a ferry stop right there for easy access to other towns/villages on the lake. We were there in 2012 and returning again in 10 days.
