Ideas for a week post Danube River Cruise
 

My wife and I are taking a river cruise on the Danube from Budapest to Regensburg in late August. We would like to take another week after the cruise in Europe on our own. No flights booked yet. Can you give a suggested itinerary to see that general area via rail or bus. Perhaps thinking Alps flying home from Milan or Venice. Alternately Prague and Slovakia. Third idea would be seeing more of Germany. What would you all recommend? Would like at least two nights at each location.
