Iceland - Some Basic Questions

Message: Hello everyone. Last week it was Japan this week they tell me they are shipping me off to Iceland (I know rough job, haha). I was wondering if anybody can give me any information on Iceland. Such as voltage standards to US standards, temperature in October, or just plain old do's and don'ts with their customs?

I am an engineer for a radio station and we frequently do broadcasts from different parts of the globe.

you might be in for a surprise !, in any case it will not be as bad as you seem to fear. Try "travelnet.is" for all the relevant info, welcome to Iceland !
Greg!
You can't imagine how lucky you are. Iceland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world (and I've been all over the globe). I just hope that you'll have time to travel around and in the island. Voltage - 220-240. Tempraturw in October between 32-52. The only bad thing I can think about is the price. Iceland is an extremely expensive country. If you need more specific advice and suggestions, write to my e-mail address as posted above.
AA
