Iceland Ring Road Hotel Help
 

Going to Iceland with my spouse Sept 5 - 13. Have already secured my hotel in Reykjavik. My budget is $250.00 or less. Absolutely need comfortable and large bed (two twins pushed together is fine but nothing less than a queen). Need a private bath. Looking for hotel or guest houses to stay in these areas:

* Sept 7 - 8 - Golden Circle
* Sept 8 - 9 - Have already booked Hotel Katla (thoughts?)
* Sept 9 - 10 Hofn
* Sept 10 - 11 Egilsstaðir
* Sept 11 - 12 Akureyri
* Sept 12 - 13 Stykkishólmur

I am open to changing to a different city in those area's but so far that has what has been recommended to me. Thank you in advance for all your help. Booking the hotels in Iceland is overwhelming due each area having so many!
