Iceland- Northern Lights in April.

UIs it possible to see the Northern Lights near Reykjavik in early April, or am I too late in the season for this?

You need dark skies to see the Northern Lights - and a large slice of luck. I'd say you are far too late

In theory the Northern Lights should be visible on every clear dark night at high latitudes. They move to their most southern latitude in the middle of the nighttime period. They are always up there; but they are not always easily visible (although satellites can see them 24 hours a day).

I went then in 2001 and did not see them, and I was really upset about it. I would plan for an earlier trip next time, but don't miss Iceland. I am dying to go back!
