Iberia Airlines Seating

I am flying to Rome for my honeymoon in April. I have my flight but my only concern is that as a big guy(6'6" with a large frame) how are the seats? This is my first overseas flight(we are flying out of Chicago)and I have no idea what to expect.

If you're flying economy, no airline will be truly comfortable.

Anyway, if you've booked it, too late to change.

They are just as bad in economy as every other airline I have flown recently. If you get to the airport far ahead of departure time (at least three hours ahead) you can try to secure a bulkhead seat. Maybe they will take pity on you cause of your size and the fact that you are on your honeymoon. Begging may be in order!

Brace yourself, 9, for what I'm about to say...I have flown iberia, and remember thinking I had never been packed in so tightly. Zero leg-room. And I am 5'8".

However, I will be taking iberia again in March due to the inexpensive fares. Perhaps that's how they keep their fares so low. If it's any consolation, the food was pretty good...

depending on your ticket class, you can make seat reservations . (the lowest class tickets have to wait til 3 days before the flight).

call them and see when you can do that, asking for extra leg room.not much else you can do. don't think you would be comfortable in coach on any airline, frankly.

try to at least get an aisle as soon as they give you advanced seat reservation opportunity.

A bulkhead seat is the LAST place I would look for additional legroom. Ask for an exit row.
