Iberia Airlines?

Can anyone tell me about this airline? Looking for airfaire deals for DD and friend to Spain, and they keep popping up. I'm specifically interested in any safety or service issues. BTW -- I have seacrhed this forum but haven't found any recent reports.

thanks so much!

This question gets asked here often. I have flown them many times and have no complaints. No better and no worse than most other major carriers, in coach.

Aw thanks! When was the last time you flew this ariline, and where?

I flew them to Naples, via Madrid, last May.

I flew Tel Aviv - Madrid _ Buenos Aires , Tel Aviv - Madrid _ Rio de Janeiro, tel Aviv - Madrid _ Lima without any special problems. In time, the same food & services quality as of other airlines.

Many thanks for the replies! Their fares seem too good be true, but I guess this is one time I can abandon my suspicions about such things!

You can take a look here, but make sure to concentrate on reviews discussing trans-Atlantic flights.

Some veerrryy interesting comments about Iberia. I have a lot to think about - but at least the trip is 6 months away.

Thanks again.
