I have a month off from school in January and I desperately want to go to Paris to study French New Wave Cinema. I cannot enroll in a University class since I do not have a whole semester, so my plan is to design my own topic (ex. Films of Robert Bresson, register the class at my school as an Independent Study, and go dig up as much information in Paris as I possibly can. Does anyone know of any cinemas or museums that cater expressly to French New Wave? I only know a little bit of the French language, but plan to learn as much as I can before I go. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My school can't help too much if my study is not necessarily affiliated with another university. Like I said, I want to find out about museums, cinemas, etc. that cater to this particular genre.

Thanks Kate--I will check into the Sorbonne. Christina, I did post on this topic a couple of months ago, but I can't find the thread. I was hoping that I could get some more information.
