I want to go to ROME ...but I cant get there HELP!!
 

Simple question I hope one of you travel buffs can assist with. I live in Hong Kong and want to pick up a direct flight to Rome - as far as I can see though all flights go to rome via London????????? any ideas.

I checked just on Expedia and can't see a direct flight; but there one with a good connection in Dubai

Dont' know where you are looking, but I just did a search on Expedia and found no direct flights, but many flights connecting through Dubai or elsewhere in the Middle East. You can also connect through Frankfurt. You may also be able to fly Swiss and go through Geneva or Zurich.

I also looked at British Air flights though London and it actually seems that the flight times are shorter than connecting through the Middle East or Frankfurt. Through London the total flight time seems to be about 17 hours, as opposed to 18-21 hours for connecting through Dubai or Frankfurt.

Sure you can get there. If you want a non-stop flight, then you should check Cathay Pacific.

Travelocity lists lots of connecting flights on Emirates Airlines and Turkish Airlines that are much less expensive than the Cathay Pacific nonstops.
