I think this will help with Paris trains
 
I haven't seen this site recommended before (although it well may have been-- I know this topic gets a workout!) I found the link from the SNCF web site, and it allows you to get directions using all the various train and métro services around Ile-de-France. For example, I will be arriving at Gare de l'Est and hadn't quite figured out how to go from there to CDG. I put my two points in, and it came back with specific Métro and RER instructions-- in English!

Well, it's so typical that only the French version will give you a link to get the ticket price. (it's in the "detail" for the route, but not on the English version).
