It's fun to see the scenery I guess, but I'd rather they spent more time in the places they go to. And I could do without the hokey challenges.

I so wanted Myrna & Shmyrna to go last night. Myrna yelling at Charla during that task was just uncalled for. I can't stand them.
I wanted Rob and Amber to last longer also.
Now I want Danny and Oswald to win because I love their attitudes and I was so happy they came in first.
My dream trip is going to Ushuaia before a trip to Antartica so I wish I could have seen more of it.

Ah, Rob and Amber end up as roadkill at the intersection of hubris and karma! Loved it.

I realize that I'm probably the only person who feels this way, but I watching Mirna's lunacy is my guilty pleasure. ;-)

I read an interview where Rob and Amber "whinned" about serious bad luck during the leg of TAR11 that got them eliminated. The show editing is quite creative as they were actually reading their letter when Charla and Myrna checked in at The Pit Stop.

They also talked about how lucky they were the first time they competed for the amount of help they got from fans. There was a loony in this forum that went beserk when I posted that observation....

I'm actually dissapointed that Rob & Amber are gone...they added something extra to the show... I personally will do a real happy dance when Myrna & Schmerna, will be gone. They are the 2 most annoying and whiny people!

Thank you Travel Gods, or was it the Travelocity Gnomes that did their magic and freed us of the pompous, egotistical, know-it-all, anything goes couple that so many of us are ecstatic to see go! It was sheer joy to see the look on his face each time he was told his routing was incorrect. He was astonished that he could be wrong and falling behind. I was sure when they came in last they would be the first couple in this race to NOT be eliminated, but thankfully that wasn't the case. Now I too can enjoy watching!

I'm sure that you fans will be seeing them again on TV someday, probably a special on CBS when you'll be up close and personal in the delivery room! The saga continues.

lyb, yes, I'd have to agree. I guarantee no other couple left on the show brings that 'something extra.'

I am so not over The Amazing Race. I still love this show! Team Cha-Cha is my fave (as I'm sure the favorite of many Fodorites). I remember when they decided to go shopping in their previous season and had the concierge at an upscale hotel do the work for them! They are so fabulous!

I really dislike Myrna and Shmyrna because they are really whiny and don't treat each other with enough respect.

I was not rooting for Rob and Amber, but I certainly did not mind them as much as many of you. I think even under pressure they were respectful to each other. And in the fish-scooping task, the guy in the other team kept talking about his girlfriend's boobs ("use your boobs to hold the fish&quot and Rob actually made a comment later that he respects Amber too much to degrade her in that way. To me that's more important than whether they help the other teams or not (it is a competition after all!

I also dislike Terri and Ian tremendously. They haven't done anything really anoying this time around, but during their previous season, they played the stereotypical "ugly Americans" so well, I started to think they were planted by CBS to make us cringe!

I haven't watched much of it this time around, but I love seeing countries outside of Europe (it's not Amazing Race Europe as someone pointed out). My heart thumps when they're in Africa, and it is fantastic to see the contestants really, really out of their element. Remember that train ride in India?

Glad to see Rob and Amber go. Did see enough to notice they're both looking rather well-fed these days, especially him.

And yes, I'm sure they'll try to sell a tv show about the birth of their first child. Must. Milk, The. 15. Minutes.

These other teams: I don't know who most of them are, except for Myrna and Schmyrna and Uchenna and Joyce. I must not have seen those other seasons.

Hmm, I think I'm getting sucked in again.

Well,I'm sad to see Rob and Amber go. I've still the Chas, the BQs and Teri and Ian to root for though.

I watched "Finish Line" on TAR's web site yesterday when R & A were interviewed. They didn't "whine" at all, just said they had really bad luck-which they did.

Getting out of the airport almost last and the detour they chose first did them in. Rob did say that they didn't know until they watched the episode on tuesday exactly what they did wrong in the detour. He said the actual clue didn't mention spelling and it did say the arrows were to point in the right direction. That would explain the BQs' insistence that the arrows had to point the correct way.

Acallerasked R & A if they go a lot of help on their first season because of being known from "Survivor". Amber replied that they did get some help, but not much, because of that, but that it also cost them time when people wanted to talk to them in the middle of a leg. Both of them that all the tactics they used had been learned from watching previous races and that they couldn't understand why the other racers didn't use them too.

Some of you folks take your TV viewing waaaaaaay too seriously. It's afreakin' game show. How you can accuse people of being egotistical and whiney based on a few minutes of TV is beyond me. Perhaps you can tell me which of the two is more "butch", Danny or Oswald. I'm sure those few minutes we've seen them on TV explains their entire lifestyle.

Some of you also take postings very literally! Perhaps I should have inserted a LOL or two. However, I stand by my impressions. Watching teams on TAR week after week IMHO does indeed give the viewer impressions about their personalities, based on their interactions with the others on the show, the way they treat locals they come in contact with, their comments, their mannerisms, etc. In any case, I believe I am entitled to my opinion. No?

You are indeed, Giovanna. Of course, Rob's "routing" was not incorrect, his spelling was. Now we find out that the clue did not specify correct spelling. We also know now that the reason why Rob and Amber were almost last to leave the airport, which IMO is why they ended up in the second group, is that their cameraman was searched by customs and that wasted time for them. These things can happen to any team, but they had the bad luck that nothing went their way on that leg.

I am so glad the biggest losers Rob and Amber are out; they got back the karma they put out. They are such whinners, if they were that good they would had recovered, other teams did, including the spelling condition. They both eed to go back to school. LOSERS!!!!

I hate to report it, but Rob and Amber mentioned on a morning talk show that they are in talks with an unnamed production company to appear in their own reality show. Really, what more do we need to know about these people?
